LHHL Grants - 2007

Each year the committee reviews requests from co-sponsoring organizations to fund special projects. The requests are evaluated based upon the need, objectives, and costs of each project and awards grants as resources allow. The committee also requires a "close-out" report as a means of ensuring accountability for the grant.

Grants awarded since the 2006 banquet

Each year the honoree(s) may designate a pro-life agency to receive a $500 grant. Dr. Barbara and Jan Fredericks (2006 honorees) chose to have their grant go to the Women's Care Center.

Feminists for Life of New York received a $550 grant to purchase and distribute 200 copies of "Pro-Life Feminism - Yesterday and Today" to campus and public libraries.

Women's Care Center received $756 to cover the cost of the Yellow Pages ad and telephone line for the Abortion Information Line.

Silent No More Awareness Campaign received a $500 grant to run a pro-life ad in conjunction with the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Orleans County received a $1500 grant for support of nurse training for the ultrasound program.
