Mission Statement
Bethany Christian Services manifests the love and
compassion of Jesus Christ by protecting and enhancing the lives of
children and families through quality social services. Bethany is a
nonprofit, pro-life adoption agency with a family-focused ministry
Our 2009-10 goals include promoting Bethany’s
presence and services in Rochester through presentations at churches,
colleges, health agencies, and other community groups and fund-raising
activities. Bethany's major fundraiser this year will be a Friday,
October 2, 2009 Mark Shultz benefit concert at Bethel Christian
Fellowship in Rochester. Shultz, a popular contemporary Christian
artist, uses his own adoption testimony, his music, and songwriting to
promote and celebrate adoption and life as God intended.
Bethany's Rochester office offers domestic infant
adoption, international adoption, and embryo adoption services, as well
as no-cost confidential, compassionate, pressure-free counseling to
women facing unplanned pregnancies and ther loved ones. Bethany's birth
parent counseling supports local pregancy centers and helps pregnant
women fully undertand their options of parenting and adoption. The
Rochester staff has been
blessed to facilitate 18 adoptions since opening in 2007 and has
provided counseling services to many in the community..
Bethany Christian Services brings 60 years of
adoption experience to the Rochester community. This ministry is in the
community to share God's love and serve women and families in crisis,
as well as children and families through its adoption services. We
welcome all who need our services and those who want to join us as
volunteers to support the ministry.

abortion’s negative consequences and the path to healing.
-
Educate the public that abortion is harmful
emotionally, physically and spiritually to women, men and families, so
that it becomes unacceptable for anyone to recommend abortion as a
