BRAVE
represents Brighton Residents Against Violence. For three
years, it attempted to prevent Morris Wortman's abortion clinic
from being built near the Lac de Ville neighborhood at 2100
South Clinton Ave. in Rochester. Its efforts were mentioned
in The New York Times.
An
active member of BRAVE is Bob Bradley, who for six years has
led a daily rosary during school's session with his students
at McQuaid High School in front of the abortion clinic.
BRAVE
has served and continues to serve as a resource to other municipalities
often in other states who are attempting to stop abortion
clinics from being built in their neighborhoods.

Net Pregancy Center of Orleans County has served over 1000
men and women from across our region who faced an unplanned
pregancy or who were making decisions about their relationships.
In 2005, we added physician pregnancy confirmation services
through limited ultrasound in order to empower women to make

The
mission of CompassCare is to erase the need for abortion in
the minds of women facing unplanned pregnancies in our community
and across the nation. CompassCare provides complete and accurate
information, empowering women to make the best decision for
themselves and for their babies.
CompassCare
provides pregnancy confirmation, pregnancy options counseling,
medical services including ultrasound exams, STD testing,
and social services coordination, as well as abortion recovery
services. Over 90% of abortion-vulnerable women choose to
have their baby after seeing their baby on the ultrasound
screen.
CompassCare
Reproductive Health Seminars give teens the information they
need to make healthy choices and have now been accepted in
22 Monroe County schools.

Choosing Life of New York is a pro-life, pro-woman organization
seeking to open minds to its philosophy of pro-life feminism,
the belief that all people, by virtue of their human dignity,

Rachel/Rachel's Vineyard Ministries is a Catholic outreach
of healing and reconciliation to women and men who are experiencing
emotional and spiritual pain after an abortion. It involves
a sensitive, confidential, private, post-abortion reconciliation

The physical, emotional and spiritual effects of abortion

The
committee is a loosely organized Catholic group of laity and
clergy which welcomes all pro-life persons. Annually the committee
and others come together on Good Friday morning to pray the
Stations of the Cross outside a local abortion facility. The
turnout for the prayer walk on that day is usually 200. In
previous years, the committee has supported educational opportunities,
other prayerful activities and sidewalk counseling at places
where abortions are performed.

RARTL
is a nonsectarian pro-life organization, founded over 30 years
ago and has three internal committees for issue advocacy,
PAC, and education. Of these, education is the primary function.
This
organization enables:

tracking
bills through federal, state and county governments for
pro-life people to know the issues;
-
identifying
and endorsing known pro-life candidates for elected offices;
- educating
wherever, whenever, and whoever on abortion, infanticide,
euthanasia and related issues such as stem cell research
and breast cancer.
The
Education Fund typically provides materials and speakers to
schools, churches, and organizations, and participates in
or displays at venues such as school health fairs or the Monroe
County Fair. The RARTL library, located at the office, has
many books, brochures, audio and video tapes available to
the public. The educational fund issues a quarterly
multi-page newsletter covering legislative and issue activities.

Mission
We,
the Catholic Church of the Diocese of Rochester, joyfully

Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical
part of the universal Christian church. Its message is

The
Silent No More Awareness Campaign is an effort to make the
public aware of the devastation abortion brings to women,
men, and their families. The emotional and physical pain
of abortion will no longer be shrouded in secrecy and silence,
but rather will be exposed and healed. This effort is a
key to making abortion unthinkable and to persuade society
that women deserve better than abortion.
The
campaign, a joint project of Priests for Life and Anglicans
for Life, has three main goals:

Teen Moms Program of Greater Rochester Youth for Christ
provides a support network, at no cost, to pregnant and
parenting young women who have chosen life for their infants

skills presentations (fire safety, recognizing illnesses,
