LHHL
had filed papers to become incorporated. The incorporation was
completed November 12, 2002. In anticipation of approaching
independence from Rochester Area Right to Life Committee. Inc.,
transitions of Banquet planning/implementation began in June, 2002.
Included among activities for which LHHL, although still a standing
sub-committee, did independent of RARTL were maintenance/expansion of
the LHHL mailing list; invitation addressing, receipt and processing of
RSVPs, entree choice counts, storage of records and supplies and
September 17, 2002: Added to the co-sponsors for the 2002 event were
His Branches, BRAVE and Salvation Army; Crisis Pregnancy Services name
was changed to CompassCare Pregnancy Services... The vote identified
the 2002 recipient at William Morehouse, M.D. A copy of the ballot is
enclosed. A family practitioner for 20 years, he had established His
Branches with focus on the physical, social, emotional and spiritual
needs of pregnant women and their families. Dr. Morehouse had also had
key roles with Grace Family Medicine and Compasscare Pregnancy Services
(formerly Crisis Pregnancy Services). The 200 people present at Mario's
Via Abruzzi for the $30 per person Award Banquet received considerable
information about the status of care for pregnant women and also the
needs of medical students, several who were in attendance.
